January 26, 2018

Putting good Rad together. I haven't worked on a bike in years! This is Red's replacement. I'm looking forward to spending loads of time with Syenna, heading down the road and trail.

Winter is Coming :)

Looks like winter has finally arrived. Not bad since it's February 18th 👍😁🌨️

Stephanie has passed on.....

Joanne called after 10 last night. She had been trying to get a hold of Gary, but he wasn't answering the call because he didn't recognize the number. So after a second call from Joanne, I picked up. I knew right away what was going on. She informed me that Steph was dead. No word on cause, either overdose or suicide.
So I called Gary to let him know, he needed to get ahold of the coroner. So I relayed the numbers that Joanne had given me.
Not a job I wanted, but a job that needed doing.
I can't imagine the devastating feelings of loosing a child. Steph was in a bad place for a while, drinking and drugs had taken hold of her years ago.
Her boyfriend of 5 years had died last month in a motorcycle accident. She was not dealing with it well, she just kept doing drugs. She truly looked like a junkie. Her photos looked terrible. So sad......

Big Day

Valentines Day
Red has gone to his new home. It's been pretty stressful going through this.
First a buyer was all excited, then changed her mind. That was while Micheal was trying to sell him for me.
After 4 months, I finally brought him home. Then the couple that bought Blue got a hold of me , they really wanted Red, since Blue had gotten West Nile and had to be put down.
So my horse owning days are over :( Time to move on.
No more feedings, no more shoveling manure. It's been a wonderful run. I've done so much, I've had so many wonderful adventures with my horses.
Now is a time for new adventures. Hopefully I'll be able to do a bit of camping, traveling.
My shoulder in much better, best it's been in 30 years! I bought a e bike, I'm looking forward to getting out with Syenna and getting fit again. It'll take time, but I'm gonna work at it. I don't have much energy, I'm hoping it'll improve. But I had no extra energy while owning a horse, I took great care of him, but that's all I could do.....
So a new day is here & I hope to use it wisely.

9. There is no one right way to live.

Seattle

Sunday afternoon I arrived at the hotel. Geez I'm glad I don't have to drive this traffic all the time! Sunday afternoon with stop and go traffic, yuck.
Had to call Larry to give me my appointment times since I forgot the paperwork and never posted the times in my calendar!
He said Syenna was So Happy to see him! I miss her very much. I'm not used to being alone.
Good thing I took 2 Vicodin last night, it controlled the pain and I got some sleep!! 😀
I can't believe how much I hurt! And of course my heels are killing me, making it very painful to walk.
